I'm hoping someone is familiar with this specific issue and can help me help her. I didn't know what to reset so I left it alone for now. I went there and looked and there are lots of lines for her HP as well as another printer she may have had previously, but the HP is not new and the problem started long after the HP was the default printer. Some responses referred to resetting preferences in the config editor. I searched for solutions in the forum, but was unable to find the answer. I don't know if I can reinstall Thunderbird for her and not lose all of the folders she has in place? My wife can no longer access her email Cannot print attachments directly when opening an email with Thunderbird 52.2. She has set up multiple folders in Thunderbird and has saved her emails over several years.

Her Thunderbird updates automatically and she is on the current version. She runs Windows 10 with Comcast email, an HP Officejet 4650 (emails print normally directly from Xfinity). Someone set this up for her years ago and suddenly it got flaky. She doesn't know how to change any settings and probably didn't. Weeks ago it suddenly started printing a one page email with normal margins using 6 pages with 1 narrow column going down the middle of the page.

I'm trying to help a 90 year old lady get her Thunderbird printing emails properly again.
